We need many fairies throughout Tasmania to wave their magic wands and flap their fairy wings to ensure all children living with a disability, special/additional need or medical condition are able to live life to the fullest, be included, receive opportunities and to simply be a kid and have fun.
Would you like to help The Fairy Godmothers sprinkle the magic and change a child’s life?
We have several options:
Become a Committee member
Membership is $15 annually. Although we are Burnie based, we offer membership to any person wishing to join our cause. We hold monthly committee meetings – 2nd Monday of each month where members are asked to attend if available.
By being a committee member, we ask you to assist in decision making, add ideas and viewpoints as well as giving time to assist with fundraising activities and events where possible.
Become a Financial Associate
Financial association is $50 annually. You have the option to attend meetings, and assist in fundraising activities and events where you are able. You are requested to attend the Annual General Meetings and have a voting right at any Executive Committee elections.
Become a Volunteer
If you feel that you cannot commit to becoming a committee member but still want to help make a difference, we ask that you consider becoming a volunteer and assist with our fundraising and events where possible. You are also welcome to attend monthly meetings.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Subcommittee
If Pregnancy and Infant Loss is where your passion lies, you have the option to join the committee as a member of Pregnancy and Infant Loss committee only.
