About Us
The Fairy Godmothers is a registered not for profit incorporated organisation, with tax deductible donation status.
Founded in September 2013, The Fairy Godmothers mission is to assist the Tasmanian community and families who have children with disabilities, special needs and medical conditions who require equipment, resources, financial assistance and medical attention.
Our aim is to also promote an awareness and understanding to the Tasmanian community of the need to assist children with disabilities and special needs.
One of our main goals is to establish an all abilities play ground on North West Tasmania for children of all abilities to play together. This is currently in the planning stages with the Waratah Wynyard Council.
In 2015 an addition was made to also include assisting in the purchase of resources to support those that have experienced Pregnancy and Infant Loss.
